SURREPTITIOUS ENTRY OPERATIONS I consists of an intense 40 hour program of instruction consisting of formal instruction and intense PRACTEX’s relating to the majority of key operated locks likely to be encountered by an officer or operator ordered to conduct a surreptitious entry on behalf of his agency, pursuant to a valid court, or military order. Specific instruction will be provided on lock picking, lock by-pass techniques and other acceptable surreptitious entry neutralization measures to include key impressioning and lock modifications. Both domestic and foreign locks will be covered. A specialized basic surreptitious entry kit and other tools are included.
SURREPTITIOUS ENTRY OPERATIONS II is a 40 plus hour course which will provide the Technical Surveillance Specialist, officer, or operator who has successfully completed the TSS entry course I, or possesses equivalent lock training, with expert skills in several new surreptitious entry areas. Emphasis is placed on vehicle opening; mastering key impressioning techniques; advanced lock picking and by-passes, and the manipulated opening of mechanical access systems & combination locks on containers NOT used for the storage of classified national defense and security information. Specialized domestic & foreign vehicle entry kit and other tools are included.
SURREPTITIOUS ENTRY OPERATIONS III - the Technical Surveillance Specialist, officer, or operator seeking admission to this 40 plus hour course must have a demonstrated level of hands-on practical expertise in both the basic and intermediate levels of surreptitious entry operations. The student will be introduced to various new Master Locksmithing disciplines including key codes; masterkeying; lock substitutions; tool making; advanced key impressioning; electronic and computer aided opening techniques, and basic alarm, or intrusion system by-pass principles. The course also includes instruction on the preparation of covert entry operation plans. This portion of the program is conducted, and presented by retired and active duty surreptitious entry specialists who have performed hundreds of sanctioned surreptitious entries pursuant to lawful authority. Specialized tools and opening devices are included.
SURREPTITIOUS ENTRY OPERATIONS IV (ALARM NEUTRALIZATION) is another 40 hour surreptitious entry course which provides the student with the knowledge, skills and equipment necessary to successfully by-pass various types of intrusion detection systems (IDS). This POI covers residential, commercial and industrial systems, and applicants must have a good working knowledge, and understanding of the basic principles of electronics, low voltage electricity, and be able to use both analog and digital Volt/OHM meters.
SURREPTITIOUS ENTRY OPERATIONS V (PLANNING & CONDUCTING) is a program which teaches each student how to carefully plan, supervise and conduct surreptitious, or secret entry operations in support of court ordered law enforcement or special covert military operations. This 40 plus hour course includes detailed instruction on the preparation of comprehensive covert entry operation plans. The instructors for this program are without equal! This course requires the participants to plan and conduct actual PRACTEX surreptitious entry operations of specific target vehicles, containers, commercial offices, aircraft hangers, and residential structures. Students accepted for enrollment in this course must have a thorough working knowledge and understanding of the techniques and skills necessary of a surreptitious entry operative who is required to conduct officially sanctioned covert entrees. This is by design an intense and stressful program which will require total commitment by each participant.
