EXPLOITATION OF BOATS & VESSELS:
TACTICAL ACQUISITION, OPERATION AND REPAIR OF BOATS (AT/FP) is a 40 plus hour POI which will teach the student how to rapidly select and “take”, under emergency conditions, gasoline, or diesel powered boats and vessels ranging from 18 thru 45 feet in length. The students will also be taught the basics of how to “run” a boat; identify and make temporary repairs to, and for common mechanical problems on a boat. They will also become familiar with the typical 12 VDC power supply and wiring design found on most boats of this size and then learn how to covertly exploit this system for other technical surveillance purposes, including the covert installation of RF switches, video surveillance equipment and GPS tracking devices.

BOAT & VESSEL CONCEALMENT TECHNIQUES (AT/FP) is a 40 plus hour POI which will teach the student how to locate and exploit existing hidden space and voids on boats & vessels that, dependent upon the vessel size can be used to conceal weapons, ammo, clothing, commo gear and other like items. The students will also be taught the basics of how to work with fiberglass under difficult field conditions to either make emergency repairs to boats and vessels, or to make simple special concealments to “hide” video cameras, GPS devices or other similar technical items.

MARITIME SURVEILLANCE OPERATIONS (AT/FP) is a 40 plus hour course that will teach the officer, or operator how to conduct covert technical surveillance and close target reconnaissance operations from boats, & vessels. This POI will stress the use of various still and video digital imaging optical systems well-suited for maritime operations. Instruction will also be provided on how to download the images into an on-board computer, encrypt them and then securely transmit the encrypted images to any location in the world.
